Lisa Magnuson, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), is a strategic global marketing leader with deep experience scaling brands and building demand for energy, climate tech, and innovation-driven companies. She is responsible for Corporate Marketing, Digital and Demand Generation, Product and Solution Marketing and Global Communications.
Prior to joining Landis+Gyr, Ms. Magnuson held senior marketing and communications leadership roles at Silver Spring Networks, PG&E, Bloom Energy, Wärtsilä and other growth-stage energy technology companies. Across these roles, she has helped define new markets, reposition brands and build high-performing marketing organizations closely aligned with sales, business development, and finance.
Her work spans integrated marketing, customer engagement, thought leadership and demand generation, with a focus on translating complex technologies into compelling narratives that drive measurable growth. She has led initiatives ranging from hydrogen and grid-modernization campaigns to large-scale digital energy literacy programs.
Ms. Magnuson holds a degree from Duke University and has been actively involved in industry leadership, including serving as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Working Group on Consumer Engagement, a founding board member of the Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative and a member of advisory councils focused on energy innovation and sustainability.
