Changes have been calculated with respect to FY 2024. For GHG emissions data, comparisons are made against the FY 2021 Science-Based Targets base year.
Our smart metering solutions enhance sustainability by providing real-time insights into electricity, water, and other resource uses. They contribute to reduce waste, optimize resource consumption, and support more efficient utility networks—empowering consumers and utilities to make data-driven decisions that lower costs, improve reliability, and minimize environmental impact.
Grid Edge Intelligence services are transforming how utilities modernize and decarbonize the grid. These services enhance energy efficiency, facilitate the integration of renewable energy sources, and manage the complexities of decentralized generation. They are pivotal in balancing peak demands, maintaining grid reliability, and seamlessly integrating new loads such as electric vehicles and energy storage systems.
Our Smart Infrastructure solutions are laying the groundwork for the smart cities of tomorrow. From advancing EV charging infrastructure to enabling safe digital transformations, we are paving the way for a more connected, efficient, and sustainable future.
Every three years, Landis+Gyr performs a Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) to identify the environmental, social and governance topics most relevant to our business and stakeholders. We engage with a diverse group of stakeholders ranging from customers, employees, suppliers, regulators, investors and local communities to capture their perspectives before setting new priorities and actions and targets.
The DMA results are translated into three-year ESG roadmaps. Each roadmap defines targeted actions, responsible teams, timelines and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) over a three-year period. Progress is reviewed quarterly by our ESG Steering Committee and reported to the Board of Directors via the Nomination, Governance & Sustainability Committee
Our material topics are organized under four strategic pillars: Products & Solutions, Climate & Environment, People & Well-being, and Business Ecosystem. For each pillar, we have defined clear commitments and priorities to guide our actions and ensure progress along our sustainability journey.
Explore our commitments, priorities and selected activities under each pillar:
