Reducing Emissions Through Fleet Modernization (FY 2024)

Landis+Gyr’s Seattle site is reducing transport-related emissions by modernizing its vehicle fleet, replacing gasoline and diesel vehicles with more efficient hybrid models. This transition has significantly lowered fuel consumption and includes the introduction of Partial Zero Emission Vehicles (PZEVs). In parallel, the fleet is being downsized as advances in product design reduce the need for field maintenance visits, further cutting fuel use and supporting lower operational emissions.
