The E450 family includes Landis+Gyr’s polyphase smart electronic meters, designed for Group B applications and supporting the measurement of energy and demand—active, inductive reactive, and capacitive reactive—across multiple time-of-use periods. These meters support four-quadrant or two-quadrant metering and include mass memory for load profile data collection.

Description

The E450 family includes polyphase smart electronic meters from Landis+Gyr, designed for Group B applications and supporting the measurement of energy and demand—active, inductive reactive, and capacitive reactive—across multiple time-of-use periods, with support for four-quadrant or two-quadrant metering.

The meters feature mass memory for load profile data collection, event logging for unauthorized intervention and network events, communication module options, integrated connect/disconnect relays, and an optional power quality module.

They can be deployed for time-of-use pricing (Tarifa Branca), microgeneration, power quality monitoring, as well as revenue protection and operational efficiency applications.

This product benefits from Brazil’s Information Technology Law, in accordance with Laws 8.248/91, 10.176/01, 11.077/04, and 13.023/14.

    • Mass memory integration interval of 5 minutes for 45 days

    • Demand integration interval configurable to 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes

    • Calendar table supporting 15 or 82 fixed or movable holidays

    • Internal battery for date and time retention with a 15-year service life

    • Record retention in non-volatile FLASH memory, eliminating the need for a battery for this purpose

    • Local communication via optical port compliant with ABNT NBR 14522

    • Independent front LEDs for active and reactive energy calibration and operating status indication

    • Load relay for remote connect/disconnect functionality

    • Operational firmware updates without loss of billing data, locally or remotely (hot update)
