TEPCO Power Grid (TEPCO PG) partnered with Landis+Gyr in 2013 to modernize its grid and deploy Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI). Over the years, this collaboration has connected and managed nearly 30 million endpoints. In 2022, Landis+Gyr supported TEPCO PG’s Joint Meter Reading (JMR) initiative, later branded as “Route IoT”, aimed at evolving AMI into a comprehensive IoT infrastructure.
